Bat out of Hell

Got a request from Rico [link] to do a sketch of Batgirl. I initially had some trouble coming up with something that worked, but then tried using Barbara instead of Batgirl.

Not 100% happy with the colors, and still thinking that it might benefit from a horizon line or some kind of low contrast background. So I might tweak it a bit later. Oh, and the original inks were really small (apprx 6" high), that's why the lines are a bit wobbly.

EDIT 1:
Changed the colors and added a background. Can't believe I didn't take the chance to work with greys and yellows from the beginning. I love that palette and have been looking for a place to use it. And this it feels like the perfect place for it!
